Our 9-Day Luxury Lodge Safari In Tanzania includes 3 nights in Serengeti National Park and has been designed to offer you more time in the Serengeti to witness the wildebeest migration. You will experience the excitement of game viewing in some of the most spectacular national wildlife game parks in Africa.
DAY 1: ARRIVE
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by a Mau Safaris transfer driver. You will be transferred to your lodge where the remainder of the day is spent at leisure.
Rest in your room, relax in the manicured gardens, enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool or explore Arusha and the surrounding areas on one of our day tours. The choice is yours.
Dinner and Overnight: Serena/Mount Meru Hotel
DAY 2&3: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Have breakfast and after start your transfer to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive with in the park, this national park has got diverse land scape with over 9 vegetation zones. Its land scape is mostly covered by the Ancient Baobab trees which are the largest in Africa.
River Tarangire that occupies most of the park attracts an abundance of wildlife like the elephants, leopards, lions, buffalos, zebras, antelopes, giraffes, as well as birds. It’s also very famous for the greatest population of Elephants in Tanzania. Have a picnic lunch to the one of the lodge inside the park while viewing animal’s drinking water in the river.
After, you will continue with game viewing and late late evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After some breakfast ,You will be Pick up from lodge, meet your professional driver tour guide, who will drive you to Lake Manyara National Park for a Morning game viewing.
Lake Manyara is home to giant Fig trees, Acacia woodlands, Mahogany trees and grassy flood plains. The contrasts of this area are simply breathtaking, with the open plains, huge escarpment, Soda Lake, dense woodlands, and distance volcanic peaks.

Animals such as Lions, Elephants, Hippos, Impalas, Giraffe, Warthog, Wildebeest, Blue monkeys, Buffaloes, Dik Dik, e.t.c can be seen.
This Park is also home to the famous tree climbing lions and Leopards.
Lake Manyara National Park provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birds life with over 400 species having been recorded within the parks boundaries.
Highlights include pink-hued Flamingos, Herons, Storks and Pelicans. After Game drive you drive to the one of Hotel in Manyara for Lunch. Then after lunch you will proceed with evening game drive and late evening drive back to the lodge for Dinner and overnight Kitela Lodge Karatu.
DAY 5&6: CENTRAL SERENGETI
You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around 9:00 AM with packed lunch and return back to lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive. Later return to accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit and depart on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch.
You will explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park today. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards.
The central portion of the Serengeti – known as Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
During the off season of the migration, one must really look out for the many lion pride that thrive in this region. The interactions and survival of these lion pride provide an excellent game viewing experience all year round.
Along with a picnic lunch during the full day game drive, the day will come to a close by around 5PM. The long day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in a Kubu Kubu / Gran Melia.
DAY 7: NDUTU AREA SERENGETI
After breakfast we head towards Ndutu area and Start you’re a full day game drive. Lake Ndutu area, situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area, part of the southern Serengeti eco-system.
Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however, the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, birds and resident game. After game drive you will drive back to the lodge for Dinner and overnight at Ndutu – Ndutu Logde.
DAY 8: NGORONGORO CRATER
After the breakfast, the guide will drive you to the main natural wonder known as the Ngorongoro crater. It has walls of about 2,000 ft high and its crater floor spreads for about 102 sq miles. The crater is inhabited by many animal species including; the rare black Rhinos, elephants, as well as the birds.
It also contains a river, swamps, a soda lake on top which is also filled with flamingos plus a forest with open plains.
You will then descend down to the crater floor to view more wildlife like the hippos and birds, then drive up to the steep road and get out of the crater. You will have a picnic lunch at the one of lodge in karatu and proceed with game drive in the early evening will drive to Eyasi where you will spend the Dinner and night at the Kitela Lodge / Farm House Lodge.
DAY 9: LAKE EYASI – ARUSHA
Mto wa Mbu is located 3 hours by car on the way from Arusha to the national parks in northern Tanzania, just at the foot of the Rift Valley. Located on the way to Ngorongoro and Serengeti, it is an ideal resting place for most safari travellers.
After the breakfast, the guide will drive you to mto wa mbu for cultural activities like Massai Market tour, Village walks, Farm tour, Miwaleni Waterfall and Lake tour, Biking, Lunch at Mama’s which is local food , you can choose your favorite activity you want to experience during your adventure.
After all activities your have selected you will drop of Kilimanjaro International Airport to flight to Zanzibar or back to home
