Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Lake Natron
Drive north through Maasai country to Lake Natron. Walk to the Ngare Sero waterfalls and see the flamingos at the shore.
Day 2: Ol Doinyo Lengai summit
Start around midnight for a steep climb to reach the crater rim at sunrise. Descend and rest at camp.
Day 3: Natron → Arusha
Morning flamingo walk, then drive back to Arusha.
