A steep climb up a forested ridge.
Day 2: Umbwe Cave → Barranco
Exposed ridge walking into the Barranco valley.
Day 3: Barranco → Karanga
Over the Barranco Wall.
Day 4: Karanga → Barafu
To high camp.
Day 5: Uhuru Peak → Mweka
Summit at sunrise, descend.
Day 6: Mweka → Gate
Final descent.
